My first big experience as show doctor was in South Korea where I reworked a script during the day while the current version of the show was running at night. It was quite a chore, but fun and rewarding work. The old version of the script had 8 actors. But the producer wanted only 7 actors in the new version. It was confusing and exciting fun for everyone.
I am happy to come see a run-thru, dress rehearsal, or preview performance. We can talk after the show, or the next day, and I will be happy to send notes over within 24 hours. If I need to attend more rehearsals, that can be worked out time permitting.
My fee would depend on the budget of your show. Little theater, little show can be a smaller fee. I don’t want to break your bank, but want my work to be compensated.
